24 April 2019 — World Vision Development Foundation collaborates with People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) at the 645th PMAP General Membership Meeting at Rizal Ballroom A, Makati Shangri-la Manila. This is to encourage companies to implement Republic Act 10028 also known as the Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act of 2009.

This collaboration aims to reinforce and strengthen the implementation of the said law in every workspace to make the country a Mother-Baby Friendly Philippines.

RA 10028 is a law that protects working mothers by providing them safe and healthful working conditions. This includes setting up lactation rooms in their respective offices and workplaces, and allowing them to be nursing employees regardless of their position.  Through these initiatives, optimal infant feeding practices are promoted.

Present in the MOA signing event are PMAP Executive Director Reynaldo Gener, PMAP President Gerardo A. Plana, DPM, World Vision Development Foundation Executive Director Rommel V. Fuerte, and MBFP City Project Officer Diana-Marie Nachor.
